CEUnits Policy and Procedure Concerning Potential Conflicts of Interest
Potential Conflicts of Interest in the Planning of Continuing Education
Dan Rebek is responsible to identify, declare, and resolve any potential conflict of interest CEUnits may have in offering any specific program of continuing education. In the event of a potential conflict of interest, Dan Rebek will assume responsibility to resolve the potential conflict. In the event of a potential conflict of interest, Dan Rebek will ensure that the involved individual recuses him or herself from the planning process. If Dan Rebek has a conflict of interest another staff member will be assigned to address the conflict of interest. Potential Conflicts of Interest in the Promotion of Continuing Education
When preparing promotional material for continuing education, CEUnits includes information concerning any financial support, including in-kind support, provided by another party. CEUnits also informs potential participants of any potential conflicts of interest an instructor. If there is no financial support or any potential conflict of interest or commercial support, CEUnits will ensure that is clearly stated in the promotional material. Potential Conflicts of Interest in the Delivery of Continuing Education
CEUnits requires that there is a process to clearly describe any financial support for a continuing education program at the time the continuing education program begins. Any other relationship that could be reasonably construed as a conflict of interest will also be disclosed. If there is no financial support or potential conflict of interest, CEUnits will ensure there is a process (e.g., a designated individual or a slide at the start of the presentation, documentation in materials) to clearly state any potential conflicts at the time the continuing education program begins. If the presenter is receiving participant fees for providing the training, participants are made aware of this prior to the training.

   Which agencies have approved CE Units to provide continuing education?

NATIONAL

NAADAC - #84902

APA - CEUnits is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. CEUnits maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

NBCC - CEUnits has been approved by NBCC as an approved Continuing Education Provider. ACEP No. 6202. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. CEUnits is solely responsible for all aspects of the program.

ASWB - CEUnits (Provider # 1112), is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 6/5/24 to 6/5/27. Social workers completing this course receive the number of continuing education credits and the type of credits stated on the course certificate.

   Grievance / Refund Policies
If you are dissatisfied with any portion of our program we would like to hear from you.
We welcome suggestions to improving our courses.
A written complaint or refund request must be made within sixty days of making the payment.

A written complaint or written refund request must include the following information:
  • Full name of registrant
  • Registrant's email address
  • Course title and number
  • Date and type of payment
  • Details of Complaint/Concern
  • Reason for refund request (if the grievance includes a refund request).

CE Director/Program Administrator, Dan Rebek.
The CE Program Director/Administrator will evaluate the merits of the request, and if deemed appropriate, will do one of the following: (In cases involving Social Workers, the Social Work Consultant will coordinate with Dan Rebek).
  1. provide a partial or full refund the original course fee
  2. attempt to offer the participant another course
  3. provide a credit towards a subsequent year's course fee
If the merits of the request are appropriate, and none of these remedies is fitting, the CE Program Director/Administrator will work with the customer to find a mutually acceptable solution.

If CE Program Director/Administrator is also the instructor the president will address the grievance. Refunds will not be approved if they are received more than sixty (60) days after receipt of payment. Refund requests will be processed within 5 days of receipt of the request. After refund we will notify the appropriate board.

   I forgot my password?
Click here - enter your email address and you will receive instructions on how to change your password. You will receive an email with a key code and a link. That key code is active for 30 minutes. When you enter that code you will be able to change your password.

If you do not receive an email from CE Units then check your junk/spam mail for the password retrieval email from CE Units.

   How do I update my profile?
After logging into CE Units click on EDIT INFO under your contact information. There you can change most of your information except your name. If you would like to change your name you will have to contact us.

   I am having trouble logging in?
Click here - enter your email address and you will receive instructions on how to change your password. You will receive an email with a key code and a link. That key code is active for 30 minutes. When you enter that code you will be able to change your password.

If you do not receive an email from CE Units then check your junk/spam mail for the password retrieval email from CE Units.

   Completion Requirements
Once you have completed the training post test, submit your answers and your score will be displayed immediately. You can then add your completed training(s) to the cart for payment with credit card, or check / money order. You will also receive an automatic email with your score and answers once you have successfully passed the post test.

When your payment has been received either by mail or automatically when paying online with a credit card, you will be instructed on how to print your certificate online.

Directions for printing your certificate online
1. Log in to CEUnits.com. On your page you will see your current trainings in progress. On the top of that box is a CERTIFICATES tab which is where you will find your certificates. Click on the certificate and a window will open with the certificate of completion.
2. After payment is received you will receive an email with specific instructions.

   How much does a training cost?

   How long do I have to finish the training?
You can take as much time as needed, there are no time restrictions. You can return anytime to read and take your post test.

   While taking training can I go back and look at material?
Yes, while taking the training you can even open a small pop-up window for reference if you'd like.

   How many times can I take the training?
For Social Workers, MFTs, Professional Counselors and Addiction Counselors, there are no restrictions on the amount of times you may take a test. Psychologists are allowed three exam attempts.

   Can I leave in the middle of the post test?
You can always login and retake the post test or study the material. There is no limitation on how many times you take the post test. Psychologists are allowed three exam attempts.

   How do I know if I passed the training post test?
Once you have completed the training, submit your answers and your score will be displayed immediately.

   When will I find out which answers I scored incorrectly?
Once you have completed and passed the training you will receive an automatic email with your score and the training answers.

   How do I access the certificate after paying?
1. Log in to CEUnits.com and click the YOUR PROFILE button. On that page you will see all trainings that have been completed. If it is marked as paid, you can click on the training name or, click on the certificate picture. This will take you to your printable certificate of completion.
2. After payment is received you will receive an email with specific instructions.

   How long is my certificate available?
Your certificate of completion will be available for at least 5 years.

   Can I print more than one copy of my certificate?
You can print as many copies as needed.
